Here is one of Bampton (aka Downton)’s beautiful grand houses.

Bampton is a village in the Cotswolds that has risen to recent prominence by also being the fictional town of Downton in the British period drama Downton Abbey. Many external scenes are filmed in the village. In particular it is home to Downton hospital, the parish church and the manor house of the Dowager Countess of Grantham (played by Dame Maggie Smith).
